Yes, TradeZero’s paper trading is free and available for one month. During this period, you’ll have access to all platform features, real-time NASDAQ Basic market data, and trading tools at no cost. After 30 days, your paper trading account and market data access will expire. To continue trading with TradeZero, you’ll need to open and maintain a live account.

If you require high frequency data streaming, or work with large data loads (multiple data feeds, charts, other third party applications utilizing streaming data) review your data plan and consult with your ISP; an unlimited or a high cap data plan is recommended.

Upload speed 20 mbps or better; Latency (Ping) - 30 ms or lower

Download Speed - 65 Mbps or higher (recommended for active trading)

Note: ZeroPro is not compatible with Mac OS; * alternatively see ZeroWeb, ZeroFree requirements if using Mac OS

You must choose ZeroPro as your first software selection (any other selection may be subject to a software fee).

The month that you subscribe is considered your free month, and will not carry over to the following month if you subscribe before the 25th.

All subscriptions after the 25th of the month will get the rest of the current month for free as well as the following month.

All switches to another platform will void your free month - this includes switches to real-time data demos.

Yes, your account can be placed on hold or switched to our ZeroFree platform so you do not incur any software fees when taking time away from trading. 

Please make sure you switch or cancel your software before 4 PM ET on the last business day of the month. 

All accounts with less than $99 equity will automatically have ID frozen on last day of the month.

Hotkeys are available for all platforms (ZeroFree, ZeroWeb, ZeroPro and ZeroMobile). Details on how to create Hotkeys for each platform can be found in the respective platform's manual. The Hotkey setting for one platform does not transfer to other platforms, therefore clients are required to create Hotkey shortcuts for each platform.
