To begin trading, your account must be funded to a minimum account value of $500.

Important:

• A minimum account value of $500 is required before trading can be enabled
• Margin accounts require at least $2,000 in equity to trade on margin or sell short. This is a regulatory minimum that applies at every U.S. broker-dealer.
• If your account balance falls below $2,000, your margin account stays open and you can keep trading, you just can't use margin or sell short until your equity is back at $2,000 or more
