What is the difference between settled and unsettled funds?

Settled funds are funds that have completed the settlement process and are fully available for withdrawal.

Unsettled funds are funds from recent trades that have not yet completed settlement. They may be available for trading in certain circumstances, but they are not available for withdrawal.

Cash accounts at TradeZero America are subject to settled-funds requirements and may receive a Good Faith Violation (GFV) if unsettled funds are used improperly.
