What balance do I need to keep my account active?

There is no minimum balance required to keep your TradeZero America account active or to access our free trading platforms.

To trade, your account must initially be funded to a minimum account value of $500, and you must maintain a minimum account value of $100 afterward.

Important:

• Approved accounts can continue to access our free trading platforms regardless of funding status
• Margin accounts generally require at least $2,000 in account value to use margin leverage
• Accounts with a balance under $100 may be subject to a $5 quarterly Unqualified Account Fee
