Is the Pattern Day Trader (PDT) rule still in effect?

No. Effective June 4, 2026, TradeZero America replaced the Pattern Day Trader (PDT) rule with a risk-based Intraday Margin (IM) framework.

Important:

• Buying power and leverage are now based on account equity, positions, and overall risk profile — not on how many day trades you make
• Requirements can change throughout the trading day based on market conditions and account activity
• Trading activity may still be restricted if risk requirements are not met
