How can I always pay $0 in commission with my trades?

For trades to qualify for $0 commission, all trades must meet the following criteria:

1. Limit order that does not create an immediate match (in less than one second).
2. The stock price is trading at $1 USD or higher.
3. Order size must be a minimum of 200 shares.
4. Stocks must trade on NYSE, AMEX or NASDAQ.

It doesn’t matter if you are long or short, as long as you use a limit order to execute away from the market, and the stock is trading at $1 USD or higher in share price.
