Are there any short selling restrictions?

Cash accounts and margin accounts with an account balance of less $500 cannot short sell stocks.
Stocks under $1.00 cannot be shorted.
Margin restricted symbols cannot be shorted with leverage. Refer to the margin restricted stocks list in the client portal.
