Markets are coming off a volatile week marked by renewed conflict in the Middle East and a sharp sell-off in semiconductor stocks.

The proposed acquisition would provide Eva Live with access to more than 260 patents and advanced millimeter-wave semiconductor technology built on a technology platform that has benefited from more than $150 million in cumulative research, development, and commercialization investment.
The company said the deal would accelerate Eva Defense's vision for autonomous drone swarms, resilient military communications, smart cities, and future space infrastructure.

U.S. gasoline prices climbed above $4 per gallon on Monday as renewed hostilities between the U.S. and Iran further disrupted energy flows through the Strait of Hormuz, a critical route for global oil supplies.
National average retail gasoline prices have risen more than 30% since the U.S. and Israel attacked Iran at the end of February.
The national average pump price reached $4.0030 per gallon on Monday, according to data from the American Automobile Association (AAA). Yahoo Finance reports.

On Monday, the company launched the AI Materials Foundry, a coalition of more than 48 technology companies, industrial firms, and research institutions.
The initiative brings together members including Nvidia, Meta Platforms, and Hyundai Motor Group to pool computing power and scientific resources to develop software that helps researchers discover new materials for chipmakers and other industries faster and at a lower cost than current methods.
