Terms and Conditions

This Welcome Bonus Promotion (the “Promotion”) is available to customers of TradeZero, Inc., a Bahamian broker-dealer registered with the Securities Commission of the Bahamas (“TradeZero”). By participating in this Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before enrolling.

Eligible New Account Holders

The Promotion is available to all new TradeZero account holders (“Eligible New Account Holder”) who: (1) open a TradeZero account using one of the Promotion’s codes (WELCOMEBONUS500, WELCOMEBONUS2500, or OPTIONS2500); and (2) fund their TradeZero account with a single initial deposit equal to or greater than the applicable initial deposit minimum in immediately available funds received by TradeZero (“Eligible Deposit”).

Promotion Period

The Promotion is available to Eligible New Account Holders while the Promotion is active. TradeZero reserves the right to modify or end the Promotion at any time and without prior notice to you.

Locate Discount

For a period of three (3) months following an initial Eligible Deposit, TradeZero will provide Eligible New Account Holders with a 5% discount on all TradeZero locate or pre-borrow charges incurred for non-easy to borrow stocks (“Locate Discount”).

The Locate Discount does not apply to (1) overnight borrow charges including overnight borrow charges on pre-borrowed stocks, Continuous Net Settlement fees, margin interest charges, or expenses incurred for holding a short position overnight for one or more nights, or (2) any applicable regulatory fees, including but not limited to FINRA Trading Activity Fees or SEC fees.

The Locate Discount cannot be combined with any other available discount on locate or pre-borrow charges, including Platinum discounts.

Platform Discount

For a period of three (3) months following an initial Eligible Deposit, TradeZero will provide Eligible New Account Holders with the ZeroPro and ZeroWeb securities trading platforms for free (i.e., without charge for monthly software fees and referred to as the “Platform Discount”). The Platform Discount will appear as a charge and a refund on an Eligible New Account Holder’s monthly statement for the first three (3) months of the life of the account.

The maximum Platform Discount to be awarded in any one-month period shall be $59 (USD). The Platform Discount shall not include market data enhancements such as OTC Markets Level 1 ($5 USD per month) or OTC Markets Level 2 ($15 USD per month).

1% Account Deposit Bonus

All Eligible Account Holders will receive in their TradeZero account a 1% deposit bonus (“Deposit Bonus”) for their Eligible Deposit with a maximum bonus amount of $5,000.00 (USD). The Deposit Bonus will be allocated to the Eligible Account Holder's TradeZero Account on the next business day immediately following a ninety (90) day period beginning on the day after a successful deposit is made.

In addition to the Locate Discount, Platform Discount and Deposit Bonus provided above, Eligible New Account Holders who deposit an initial Eligible Deposit of at least $2,500 USD will receive commission free trading, up to $2,500 USD, on all equities shares traded (“Commission-Free Trading”).

Promotion Restrictions

This Promotion is only available to Eligible New Account Holders. This Promotion is not available in any jurisdiction where TradeZero is not authorized to do business, where its products and services would be contrary to the laws, rules, and regulations governing the securities industries, or where otherwise prohibited by the local laws, rules, and regulations of any applicable jurisdiction.

This Promotion is not available to the following:

Employees and agents of any US domestic or foreign financial institutions, including but not limited to banks, broker dealers, or financial advisors.

Employees of any US domestic or foreign securities exchanges including but not limited to the NYSE, NYSE Arca Equities, NYSE American, and Nasdaq Stock Market.

Employees, owners, agents, or consultants of TradeZero or any of their parent companies, affiliates, and subsidiaries.

Any person who currently has, or in the last 6 months has had, a TradeZero account.

ACAT transfers or other transfers of securities to TradeZero do not satisfy the Eligible Deposit requirement. Multiple account deposits cannot be combined to meet the requirements of an Eligible Deposit.

Promotion Award Revocation and Cancellation

TradeZero will revoke or cancel any Promotion Award given to or due to any participant if a participant does not act or conduct itself in accordance with any of the requirements of the Promotion including the “Promotion Restrictions” detailed herein.

TradeZero may rescind any or all of the Locate Discount, the Platform Discount, Deposit Bonus, the Commission-Free Trading, and/or the Options Discount if an Eligible New Account Holder completes a withdrawal from their TradeZero account within the ninety (90) days following their Eligible Deposit that leaves their TradeZero Account with a balance below the amount of their relevant Eligible Deposit.

Responsibility for Taxes

Participants are solely responsible for any and all tax payment and reporting obligations that may arise as a result of participating in the Promotion, including for any Promotion Award. TradeZero, its parent companies, their affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively, the “TradeZero Entities”) shall not be liable or responsible for any tax payments on behalf of the Promotion’s participants. However, TradeZero reserves the right to withhold or report on any Promotion Award to the extent required by law.

Privacy Policy

Participants understand and agree that TradeZero will capture, use, and process personal data in accordance with TradeZero’s privacy policy as it may be amended from time to time and incorporated in TradeZero’s customer agreement.

Disputes

By participating in the Promotion, Account Holder agrees that the maximum amount in controversy to be awarded in any dispute with any TradeZero Entities is the cash value of the applicable, combined Locate Discount, Platform Discount, Deposit Bonus, Commission-Free Trading, and Options Discount. All disputes arising out of the Promotion shall be governed by the Account Holder’s customer agreement with TradeZero.
