US stock futures rose on Tuesday, while oil prices fell after President Trump signaled openness to further talks with Iran, stoking optimism for a long-term truce.

S&P 500 futures edged up 0.2%, while those on the Nasdaq 100 led the advance with a 0.4% gain.

Contracts on the Dow Jones Industrial Average, which includes fewer tech names, hovered above the flat line.

On Monday, the Wall Street benchmarks eked out small wins after software stocks ripped higher.

Washington and Tehran are considering further negotiations to extend their current two-week ceasefire, even with the US naval blockade on Iran’s energy ports now in place.

Trump said on Monday that “the right people” interpreted as Iran have reached out “to work out a deal.” Yahoo Finance reports.

💻 Marvell stock hits record high after Nvidia’s $2 billion move and Amazon AI chip push

Marvell Technology shares climbed to new records Monday, building on Friday’s surge as Nvidia’s $2 billion bet fueled optimism around Marvell’s role in Amazon’s AI chip plans.

The stock traded up roughly 2.1% at $131.22 by late morning, after reaching $135.18. Nvidia, meanwhile, hovered near flat.

This shift is significant: AI investments are spilling over from Nvidia’s GPUs to broader data center infrastructure.

Marvell’s business centers on application-specific integrated circuits, or ASICs, chips tailored for certain jobs, and optical interconnect hardware, which pushes data between servers and racks using light.

That approach speeds things up and cuts power needs. TechStock² reports.

🧬 Hoth Therapeutics soars in pre-market after fat burning study

Hoth Therapeutics, Inc., a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, today announced positive data from its HT-VA study, conducted under its Cooperative Research and Development Agreement with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and Emory University, demonstrating that parenteral GDNF directly reprograms liver fat metabolism at the genetic level in a preclinical model of metabolic-associated fatty liver disease.

"HT-VA represents a major milestone for Hoth as we expand into high-value metabolic indications," said Robb Knie, Chief Executive Officer of Hoth Therapeutics.

"These results demonstrate that GDNF is not simply reducing fat, but fundamentally reprogramming how the body produces and metabolizes fat at the genetic level. The ability to shut down fat creation while activating fat metabolism differentiates GDNF from existing therapies, including GLP-1 agonists." PR Newswire reports.

💊 Wegovy-maker Novo Nordisk partners with OpenAI to speed drug development

Danish drugmaker Novo Nordisk, which has fallen behind Eli Lilly in the immensely lucrative weight-loss drug market, said on Tuesday it is partnering with OpenAI to deploy artificial intelligence across its business, from drug discovery to manufacturing and commercial operations.

The maker of Wegovy and Ozempic said the partnership would use OpenAI's technology to analyse complex datasets, identify promising drug candidates and improve efficiency in manufacturing, supply chains, distribution and corporate operations.

Drugmakers are increasingly using AI to streamline the more tedious parts of drug development, from finding clinical trial participants and selecting sites to preparing regulatory filings, though industry executives say the technology has not yet fully delivered on the harder task of discovering major new molecules.
