US stock futures moved higher early Monday as investors looked to build on a strong May rally that pushed major indexes to fresh record highs.

Dow Jones futures rose 0.4%, while S&P 500 futures gained 0.2%. Nasdaq 100 futures also advanced 0.2%.

Wall Street enters June following a powerful month for equities. The Nasdaq Composite surged more than 8% in May, leading the major indexes higher as technology stocks continued to outperform.

The S&P 500 gained roughly 5% during the month, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average added nearly 3%.

Meanwhile, geopolitical developments remained in focus. President Trump said he would convene advisers in the Situation Room to make a "final determination" on next steps regarding Iran, while reiterating that Iran must never obtain a nuclear weapon.

He also called for the immediate reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, a key route for global energy shipments. Yahoo Finance reports.

☁️ Nebius stock trades near high on AI fund interest, faces next hurdle

Nebius Group traded near all-time highs ahead of Monday's U.S. market open after a prominent AI-focused investment fund disclosed a 5.6% stake in the company.

The investment has added momentum to the stock's rally, but also raises expectations that Nebius can deliver business results to support its elevated valuation.

Nebius is widely viewed as a direct play on AI computing infrastructure, benefiting from continued demand for GPUs used in AI training and inference, which remains ahead of available supply.

The latest move followed a Schedule 13G filing that listed Situational Awareness LP, SAF AI GP LP, Situational Awareness LLC, Situational Awareness Partners LP, Leopold Aschenbrenner, and Carl Shulman as reporting holders of the stake.

Investors are now watching whether the company can translate strong AI-related demand into sustained growth beyond the recent surge in market enthusiasm. TechStock² reports.
