US stock futures fell on Monday, signaling a return to losses as Middle East tensions kept markets cautious ahead of a week dominated by Nvidia earnings.

Dow Jones Industrial Average futures sank roughly 0.7%, or more than 300 points.

Contracts on the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq 100 dropped 0.5% and 0.4%, respectively, after Wall Street stocks closed sharply lower on Friday.

Oil prices rose about 1% as the US and Iran remained far from a peace deal, highlighted by President Trump’s warning on social media Sunday: “For Iran, the Clock is Ticking, and they better get moving, FAST, or there won’t be anything left of them. TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE!”

Brent crude futures topped $110 a barrel, while West Texas Intermediate traded around $106.

The oil rally is keeping inflation concerns elevated, contributing to pressure on global bonds and a pullback in US stocks from record highs. Yahoo Finance reports.

Aurora Innovation shares fell 5.75% to close at $7.71 on Friday, ending a volatile week that saw the autonomous trucking company reach a 52-week high of $8.565 before retreating.

Aurora’s investment story is increasingly shifting away from pure research potential toward commercial execution.

The company is working to demonstrate that its driverless freight technology can scale beyond mapped pilot routes into broader commercial deployment.

Management has also reiterated plans to launch fully driverless truck operations during the second quarter without an onboard observer requested by a partner. TechStock² reports.

⚛️ Nvidia's quantum computing advances could boost stock over 20% by 2026

Nvidia has launched Ising, an open-source AI model suite designed to improve quantum computing by combining qubits with high-performance GPUs.

The initiative aims to tackle calibration and error-correction issues that have long constrained quantum hardware development.

Nvidia is positioning for a hybrid computing future in which quantum processors handle specialized workloads while GPUs continue powering AI training and inference.

While quantum computing remains an emerging market with limited near-term commercial scale, Nvidia’s broader ecosystem expansion, including its Blackwell and Rubin GPU platforms alongside CUDA software, strengthens its position in growing AI infrastructure markets.

Analysts project Nvidia shares could rise roughly 20% to $280 by the end of 2026, supported by continued AI demand and potential upside from quantum computing advancements. TechStock² reports.
